| Presidents Corner |
As President of this fine club, I hope you are impressed with what we have accomplished. Our first President Super Syd Severe has laid an excellent foundation for us to build on. We are all proud to be members of the Buffalo Soldier Nation. We represent all areas of the Triangle as our members come from five counties within and around the Triangle area. We are not a social club, but much more. We are a motorcycle club first and foremost, keeping the rich history of the Buffalo Soldiers alive. Just like those soldiers that overcame hardships, we will overcome any challenge facing us and our community will be better because of us Cornell "Cobra" Chandler President and Founder |

| Marc Silvey I was born and raised in North Carolina so I am one of the few natives around here! I am truly an amateur historian and have been not only been researching The Civil War and post reconstruction Black America, but I have been doing a genealogy on my own family. I recently found out that I have 3 ancestors (Great-great-great Grandfather and his two brothers) who fought and died on the raid at Fort Wagner, SC during the Civil War and were all in the 54th Massachusetts Colored Infantry. I also have an ancestor in the 14th Rhode Island Colored Heavy Artillery. This is what attracted me to The Buffalo Soldiers, this sense of history. I studied biochemistry at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and at East Carolina University. I did my clinical work at Duke University. I have been married to my beautiful wife Voncyle for 18 years and have 3 great children, all boys. I am a research scientist and work for an Italian BioTech company, working with hospital labs all over the country in immunodiagnostics. I come from a long line of educators and am committed to the philosophy of each one teach one and this fits well with the philosophy of The Buffalo Soldiers. I have been riding for a little over a year and it is my passion! |
